FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
1. What size is the KipSip Herding Ball?
When fully inflated, the KipSip ball is 18 inches (about 45 cm) in diameter. It's designed for medium to large active dogs (30 lbs and up).
2. How do I inflate the ball correctly?
Use a standard air pump with a narrow nozzle (like those for yoga balls). Inflate it fully until the surface is firm and smooth. Under-inflation may cause the ball to tear more easily or not roll properly.
3. What material is the ball made of?
The inner ball is made of thick, durable PVC. It comes with a protective fabric cover designed to resist moderate chewing and tugging.
4. Can my dog bite or chew the ball?
This is not a chew toy. The cover is durable, but we strongly recommend supervised play—especially for heavy chewers.
5. Does it come with a cover?
Yes, each KipSip ball includes a removable and cleanable fabric cover to help extend the life of the ball.
6. My ball got punctured or torn. What should I do?
Each KipSip Herding Ball comes with two Clear Repair Patches included in the package. These patches are designed for quick and easy fixes. Simply deflate the ball, clean the damaged area, and apply the patch firmly. It’s a convenient way to extend the life of your ball without needing a replacement.
7. Can I use the ball indoors?
We recommend outdoor use for the best experience, especially in open areas where your dog can safely chase and herd the ball. The ball is large and may not roll well indoors.
8. Is it safe for puppies?
Yes, but it's best suited for puppies over 6 months old. Always supervise play, especially with younger dogs.
9. How do I clean the ball and cover?
The fabric cover can be cleaned using cold water and mild detergent, then air dried. The inner ball can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals.
10. Do you offer returns or replacements?
We follow a clear return policy. If you have any issue with your purchase, please contact us—we’re happy to help.
